About the Dallas Aquarium
The Dallas World Aquarium, located in the West End Historic district of downtown Dallas, is a refuge for threatened and endangered animals from all over the globe. The museum is known for their efforts to conserve species and educate the public about the importance of cooperative breeding with other like-minded zoos around the world. The two-story museum includes a second floor reenactment of the Orinoco Rainforest (a Skin Cancer Consultants staff favorite) where visitors will find toucans, bats, and crocodiles. The first floor of the building is bustling with marine life from the waters of Japan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, British Columbia, and the Bahamas, among many others.
